Board approved articles of incorporation and by-laws. President Theresa J. Volunteers joining in Community Inclusion in events, festivals, fund raisers , Thank you! HELPING  ORGANIZE COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS for Events and Fund Raisers
 Increases the number of community members actively involved in the lives of people with disabilities, and reduces the physical, social and emotional isolation of persons with disabilities. Encourages Ohio County residents who have cognitive and physical disabilities to be active, contributing participants in community life. Promote artists, crafters, educators, collectors, hobbyists, folklorists, storytellers, musicians, writers, songwriters, and amateur athletes in our community chest volunteer services corps.

Community Inclusion Goal:  Increases the number of community members actively involved in our community and social lives. Recruit community members in our Ohio County Community Chest and the ACE Folklife Festival non-profit corporations.

1. Establish a Permanent Policies and Long Range Planning Committee
2. Appoint Five Vice Presidents, and a Secretary, to work with Founder/President Theresa J. Morris, and Russell Gillim, Treasurer for the next 3 year term in office until a permanent president can be hired to take over full time responsibilities with a part-time staff working with Ohio County Employees and the Ohio County Community Chest Volunteers Program as specified in the proposal accepted at the Ohio County Fiscal Court Meeting in March and April of 2007.
3.  Agree to create an endowment giving program together as a community.
4. Agree to representation of the Ohio County Community Chest and Ace Folklife Volunteers at the Ohio County Fiscal Court Meetings held ever third Tuesday of the month and special meetings called by the Judge Magistrate.

5.  Agree on volunteers helping with the brochure, monthly newsletter, flyers, advertising, posting of  events and fundraisers and partnering with other businesses, corporations, non-profit organizations.
Nurturing Children and Youth - Ensuring healthy development, positive relationships, and skills for children and youth.
Fostering Independence - Helping seniors and neighbors with special needs increase their self-sufficiency and maintain independence.
Promoting Health and Healing - Supporting physical and mental health services, alcohol/drug prevention and treatment.
Strengthening Families - Promoting social, emotional and economic support and stability for families.
Responding to Basic Needs - Providing a safety net for individuals and families.

PUBLIC NOTICE:

Due to the two operations on Theresa J. Morris's neck and back she will no longer sing in public and is considered retired.

Theresa J. Morris had neck surgery and back surgery and her larnyx was scarred during the procedure when the titanium rod and screws and bones were replaced in her neck. Theresa could not talk for three months and her singing vibrato never returned. Therefore she can only make public speaking engagements.  Theresa "TJ" wants to thank all her friends, family, supporters, and fans.

Theresa J. Morris will now simply write stories and books.

Theresa Morris is now only interested in helping others with copyright, marketing, and promotional rights.

Theresa Morris will be assisting charities and non-profits as a volunteer only. Thank you for the letters and requests to sing gospel at all the churches for special engagements. Please pass the word that Theresa is now retired from singing. This is the only public notice that will be given.

Theresa J. Morris Advocate for art, culture, education, and folk life has announced that she will be supporting two non-profits she founded in KENTUCKY.
